Dirk T. Schmitt new Head of Corporate Communications at Deutsche Annington
Bochum, 19 February 2008 – Dirk T. Schmitt (35) assumed responsibility for corporate communications of the Deutsche Annington Immobilien Group (DAIG), Bochum, on 15 February. He is the successor of Dr Nicole Volck, who has taken maternity/parental leave.
Mr Schmitt has many years of experience in leading positions both in the communications sector and the real estate industry. From 2001 to mid-February 2008 he was responsible for marketing at Frankfurter Beratungsgesellschaft A&B Financial Dynamics as well as for the private equity, investment banking and real estate sectors; from 2006 as a managing director. As part of his work he looked after numerous well-known companies, including Lazard, JPMorgan, Blackstone, Axa Private Equity, Tank & Rast, Advent International, Deutsche Annington and Terra Firma. His area of responsibility covered M&A communications, investor relations, press work and public affairs. Mr Schmitt also took part in an Executive MBA programme of the universities of St. Gallen and Toronto.
