Deutsche Annington Extends Service for Senior Citizens Nationwide
Bochum, September 21st, 2007 - Deutsche Annington Immobilien Group (DAIG, Bochum) is extending its current service for elderly customers, “Annington Wohnen Plus.” As of October 1st, a 24 hour, toll-free, nationwide service-hotline will be available for seniors in order to provide even more thorough service for even more customers. Trained employees will mediate a selection of quality-certified services ranging from nursing and health to everyday life and leisure. These services include meals-on-wheels, carpools, ambulant nursing services, references to medical specialists abroad as well as travel information.
“We intend to help the elderly be able to live their lives, independently, in their own trusted environment for as long as possible. The demand is there. The results from our recent customer survey confirm this,” explains Wijnand Donkers, CEO of Deutsche Annington. “We have noticed that we could not satisfy this demand with the individual consultation centres. Therefore, we searched for a way to provide Annington Wohnen Plus nationwide. This is possible through our cooperation partner now.” In the course of the restructuring, the consultation centres will be closed at the end of September.”
Deutsche Annington’s cooperation partner is ÖRAG Service GmbH, a leading assistance and service company which maintains a comprehensive database of over 22,000 certified service providers in Germany. For most of the services they mediate (of which 5,000 are meals-on-wheels services and 9,000 are ambulant nursing services), non-binding information on prices is immediately available. “To us, not only the quantity is important. Particularly, the quality of the service is far more important,” emphasizes Donkers. Nursing services, for example, are only carried out by charitable organisations which have been independently evaluated and have a seal of approval.
