Deutsche Annington Foundation Contributes to Kindergarten in Nuremberg

Nuremberg, July 9th, 2007 – It was a happy day for both the children and for Reverend Dr. Manderla, Director of the St. Franziskus Parish’s kindergarten: following a long wait, the renovations made to the kindergarten were officially inaugurated yesterday in a ceremony.

The little ones’ wish to have more room to play and to have nicer, modern facilities was granted. The kindergarten was redesigned and interior rooms were newly painted and beautified with decorations. The Deutsche Annington Foundation donated € 3,000 towards the material and planning for the modifications.

“With their commitment to the kindergarten’s modification, the Deutsche Annington Foundation made it possible for the children to have a nicer place to play, to do gymnastics and to run about, “according to Hilde Bohle-Bönsel, Member of the Board of the Deutsche Annington Foundation.

“We are pleased to be able to grant the children’s, parents’ and the congregation’s wish of remodelling and modernising the kindergarten. The waiting period was worth it. All the children and the employees are already really enjoying the redecorated kindergarten,” according to Reverend Dr. Manderla.
