Deutsche Annington Ruhr Makes Donation to the Children’s Cancer Association

Essen, February 22nd, 2007 – Employees of Deutsche Annington Immobilien Group’s (DAIG, Bochum) regional subsidiary Ruhr, located in Essen, are supporting the work of the German Children’s Cancer Association with a donation of €1,500. The money came from the auction of disused office inventory. “Our employees enthusiastically bid for the items for a good cause,” said Thomas Schlüß, Executive Director of the Regional Subsidiary Ruhr.

The German Children’s Cancer Association’s therapy studies will be supported by the money. Over the past few years, these studies have contributed to significantly increasing the chances of recovery for children with leukaemia.
