Deutsche Annington: Foundation Donates Swing
Bochum, January 31st, 2007 – Deutsche Annington Immobilien Group (DAIG, Bochum) has donated €2,500 to the Regenbogen Kindergarten on Westfalen Street in Marl-Drewer. In doing so, they were able to purchase a “bird’s nest” swing. To the delight of 60 children, the swing was dedicated on Wednesday morning and is now yet another playground attraction. Up to five children can fit in the “bird’s nest” swing at one time.
“We are pleased to be able to support another kindergarten in Marl with a donation,” said Thomas Jacobs, Chairman of the Viterra Foundation. “Social commitment to our portfolio is very important to us.” “Now, these children can finally swing to their hearts’ desire over the break,” said director Gabi Fischer.
The money for the donation comes from the Viterra Foundation, a charititable foundation with which Deutsche Annington, one of the leading German, residential property companies, is helping local projects that support socially-responsible cooperation in their own portfolio. This project was carried out in collaboration with the German Tenants’ Association of North Rhine Westphalia.
