Executive Management

Deutsche Annington’s executive management is responsible for the administration of the entire corporate group. The Chairman of the Management Board is 44-year old Wijnand Donkers. He supervises Deutsche Annington together with Executive Manager, Dr. Manfred Püschel.

Wijnand Donkers (Chairman of the Management Board)

Wijnand Donkers was appointed Chairman of the Deutsche Annington Management Board in May 2007. Before joining Deutsche Annington, he spent over 20 years in different international positions at BP plc gaining extensive international experience. He ran several large units in the foodstuffs, petrochemicals and gas sectors where customer orientation was a #1 priority. He was a member of the BP Germany supervisory board from 2001 to 2005 and also the general manager responsible for a portfolio of plastic recycling businesses in Germany, Austria and Turkey.

Donkers has a Master of Business Administration degree from Erasmus University in the Netherlands, studied International Affairs in Italy and Poland and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2004.

He is married, has one daughter and his hobbies include tennis, golf and
reading.

Dr. Manfred Püschel (Member of the Management Board)

Dr. Manfred Püschel has been a member of the Deutsche Annington Management Board since 2005. In 1998, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the then Viterra AG (subsequently taken over by Deutsche Annington). Before that, he had management positions as board member and chief executive officer at Raab Karcher as well as at several Stinnes group companies. His professional career started at VEBA, Düsseldorf, as a member of the planning staff.

Püschel took his Dr. rer. pol. degree at the University of Constance in 1983 where he had then been working as a postgraduate research associate since 1979. He completed a degree in Economic Studies at the University of Mannheim between 1974 and 1979.

He is married with four children. His hobbies include golf, skiing and soccer.
